Our management API now includes custom 404 HTML

Shared by urllo • August 05, 2026

We've updated the management API to return the custom 404 HTML body configured for a host, when one is defined.

This gives API integrations access to the complete custom 404 configuration for a host, making it easier to retrieve, back up, migrate, or synchronize host configurations programmatically without relying on manual steps.

Redirect analytics exports are now available

You can now export your redirect analytics directly from the dashboard.

Previously, redirect analytics exports were available by request through our team. Based on customer feedback, you can now download a CSV at any time from analytics → redirects using the export report button.

This makes it easier to analyze traffic, share data with your team and build custom reports in your preferred spreadsheet or analysis tool.

Shared by urllo • April 16, 2026

We’re excited to share an update that makes working with QR codes in urllo more convenient. QR code functionality is now available directly on the source URLs main page, making it easy to quickly find and view your codes.

We’ve also improved the security of QR codes. Previously generated over HTTP, they are now served over HTTPS to ensure a more secure experience.

This update is designed to streamline your workflow and reduce the number of steps it takes to view and download QR codes for your redirects.

We’d love to hear your feedback. Let us know what you think!

Introducing our new redirect checker

Shared by urllo • March 12, 2026

We’ve launched our very own redirect checker to help you better understand how your redirects are performing. This tool gives you clear visibility into how traffic flows from source to destination, so you can quickly identify redirect chains and loops, measure response times and see exactly where your DNS is pointed.

It also provides insights to help strengthen security and privacy, ensuring your redirects are configured efficiently and safely. Whether you're troubleshooting an issue or optimizing performance, the redirect checker makes it easy to spot opportunities for improvement.

Shared by urllo • August 21, 2025

We want to let you know that V1 of our redirector edge network will be fully deprecated on September 20, 2025. After this date, V1 will no longer be available.

V2, which was first introduced in April 2021, provides faster performance and greater reliability and will continue to be the standard going forward.

To avoid any service interruption, please complete your migration to V2 before the deprecation date. Step-by-step instructions for updating from V1 to V2 are available in your dashboard.

All customers still using V1 have already been notified directly via email.

Thank you for your attention to this update and for continuing to trust us with your redirects.

Shared by urllo • May 01, 2024

April 12, 2024

We've reached a decision to retire our community and integrate our changelog into our news centre. After careful consideration, we've made this transition to streamline our focus, allowing us to devote more attention to serving our customers directly rather than managing an extra platform.

If you have any questions about this change, please let us know and we would be happy to chat.
